Production process
Smelting and purification
Vacuum induction melting (VIM) or electron beam melting (EBM), controlling oxygen content ≤ 100ppm; The typical ratio of cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy is Co-28Cr-6Mo (ASTM F75).
Forming technology
Cold rolling+drawing: The precision of thin-walled tubes (wall thickness<1mm) reaches IT10 level.
Centrifugal casting: Thick walled tube porosity<0.1%, suitable for chemical equipment.
Heat treatment
Solution treatment (1150-1250 ℃) and aging treatment (700-800 ℃ tempering) are used to enhance fatigue resistance.
Precision machining
Low speed cutting of hard alloy cutting tools requires stress annealing after inert gas shielded welding (TIG/laser welding).
