Specification and size

Diameter range
The diameter of the round rod is usually 7.0mm to 450.0mm (GB/T 39799-2021).
The side length of the square rod ranges from 30.0mm to 450.0mm.
Special applications such as aerospace may involve larger specifications (such as a 1.8m diameter rocket nozzle extension).
Length requirements
Non fixed length: Processing state 300-6000mm, annealed state 300-2000mm.
The allowable deviation for the fixed length should be clearly marked in the contract.

Craftsmanship

Melting technology
Vacuum consumable arc furnace melting (2-3 melting cycles to improve purity).
Electron beam melting (EBM) is used for high-purity alloys.

Plastic processing
Forging: Free forging (large diameter bars) and die forging (small and medium-sized precision parts), the temperature needs to be controlled at 800-1000 ℃ to avoid coarse grains.
Rolling: Hot rolling (over 100mm in diameter) and cold rolling (high-precision small-diameter bars with a tolerance of ± 0.05mm).

Heat treatment
Annealing (650-700 ℃ stress relief).
Solid solution aging (such as TC4 alloy: 900-950 ℃ solid solution+500-600 ℃ aging).
