Pure Nickel Wire
Pure nickel wire is a type of metal wire made from high-purity nickel (usually with a nickel content of ≥ 99.6%) through precision drawing technology, which has excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties.
Pure nickel wire is mainly divided into two grades: Nickel 200 and Nickel 201. Nickel 201 is a low-carbon version (carbon content ≤ 0.02%), which can effectively prevent embrittlement caused by the precipitation of grain boundary carbides in high-temperature applications. This material has played an important role in the electronics and electrical industries since the early 20th century, and has now become an indispensable foundational material in fields such as aerospace, chemical processing, medical devices, and new energy.
Description
Our pure nickel wire is prepared using vacuum melting technology to ensure a nickel purity of over 99.97%. Key impurity elements such as sulfur, phosphorus, oxygen, etc. are strictly controlled at extremely low levels (ppm level). The product diameter range covers 0.05mm to 5.0mm, and the dimensional tolerance can be controlled within ± 0.001mm, with excellent straightness. All nickel wires have undergone bright annealing treatment, with a smooth and clean surface, free of oxidation skin and oil residue, meeting the most stringent application environmental requirements.
Compared with ordinary nickel wire, our product has significant advantages:
- Higher purity: using special refining technology, the impurity content is more than 50% lower than ordinary products in the market
- More stable performance: By precisely controlling the annealing process, ensure that the performance difference between batches is less than 5%
- Better surface quality: Adopting a dual process of electrolytic polishing and bright annealing, the surface roughness Ra is ≤ 0.2 μ m

To ensure optimal performance, please note the following:
- Cutting: It is recommended to use precision wire cutting or laser cutting to avoid deformation caused by mechanical stress
- Cleaning: Use acetone or alcohol for ultrasonic cleaning, avoid using cleaning agents containing chloride ions
- Heat treatment: If annealing is required, it is recommended to perform it in a hydrogen or vacuum atmosphere, with a temperature controlled between 650-850 ℃
- Storage: It is recommended to seal and store in a dry environment to prevent surface oxidation
