Preparation of high-purity materials and precision forming technology

Using electron beam melting or powder metallurgy technology to ensure tantalum purity>99.95% and impurity oxygen content ≤ 50ppm.

Difficult to melt characteristics (melting point 2996 ℃) require processing in a vacuum or inert gas environment to avoid oxidation embrittlement.

Cold processing dominant: By cold rolling and cold drawing to control dimensions (tolerance ± 0.02mm), the wall thickness of thin-walled pipes can reach 0.1mm;

Additive manufacturing: 3D printing tantalum powder to achieve complex structures (such as 50 μ m porous vascular scaffolds), reducing material loss.

Surface and Connection Treatment

Chemical polishing eliminates microcracks, and after electrolytic polishing, the roughness reaches Ra ≤ 0.1 μ m;
